About CCO
An agency of the Ontario Government, Cancer Care Ontario (CCO) is dedicated to providing the highest possible quality of care and preventing cancer for the residents of Ontario. CCO directs over $500 million in public funding for cancer prevention, detection and care. CCO also operates screening and prevention programs, manages and communicates information about the cancer system’s performance, develops evidence-based standards and guidelines, and works with regional providers to enhance services for patients.
