The Document Management Module serves as the foundation of Intrafinity's Enterprise Document Management solution. The Document Management module centralizes document organization and provides a host of document level features including version control, record locking, metadata, and audit trails.

Features

• Version Control
  Version Control allows users to continually update documents without losing previous versions. Intrafinity’s Document Management module automatically saves all previous and newly made changes on a document and places version updates in the repository. This feature allows users to keep track of any changes done to a document, and also provides the option of retrieving old data.
• Security and Resource Locking
  To prevent information from being altered by all viewing members, Intrafinity’s Resource Locking feature allows authors to lock resources that are currently being edited.  The solution also provides a very granular level of permissions control which enables administrators, category owners, and document owners to control who can access what and the privileges that these users have.
• Metadata
  The Document Management module allows administrators to define relevant metadata on documents in tthe system and users can enter the metadata on documents they contribute.
• Audit Trails
  Audit Trails within the Document Management module allow administrators and members to track changes that have been performed to individual documents. This feature tracks the name of the member, time and the nature of alterations, and lists them in a chronological order.
